Thoughts on Living in the Metro

My main concern in living in Metro Manila is the quality of the air, water, and food.

Try to stay in the mountain for a week then go back to the city and you'll notice the difference.

As much as I want to live in the middle of the forest now, or at least a place surrounded by lots of trees, I have to "earn" it.

And by that I mean more than funds is to "train" myself to basic living.

I don't even know how to grow my own food yet.

Ironically nature is supposedly free for all beings but we live in this timeline wherein we must pay for ownership of land.

And even if it's free to go off-the-grid, it is not as easy as it is especially for those who lived in concrete town houses and subdivisions for most of their lives like I do.

Now it has become my motivation to thrive fully and live more consciously.

I want to live the highest quality life as possible with my loved ones and I don't necessarily mean expensive life but life that's closest to nature living - alkaline water preferably from mountain spring, organic fruits and vegetables from my own farm/garden, fresh air from trees, high vibration house made of combination of wood, natural stones, mud, and little concrete.

I also want access to spring, falls, or river.

And of course I still want to be integrated to society so internet access is a must, and moreover I want a solar powered-home and use only eco-friendly, vegan products.

The rest will just be a bonus for me.

Little by little I am already preparing myself for this transition and while I'm still in the city I am now researching on how to grow urban organic crops and solar living, practicing cooking my own nutritious meals, and consciously living so when opportunity meets preparedness, it'll just happen.

As early as now I feel fulfilled because I love every moment of conscious holistic living.
