A person who love bombs immediately at the beginning and put you on a pedestal right away without knowing you on a deeper level for quite awhile isn't really in love with you.
That person is in love with his or her "idea" of you which is that person's "made-up version of you".
The moment the person sees the difference, the real you, you will be discarded as easily as you were sold to their flattery and promises.
Be aware of the red flags to avoid these kind of people as they are also "unaware" of what they're doing.
It's a projection of their unresolved need for validation.
Protect your energy by not giving in easily because these people will not be able to sustain the love bomb for too long.
Do not engage right away because oxytocin builds quite fast.
If you find yourself enjoying the flattery and the love bomb stage, you also need to heal your need for validation too.
